These rutiles are black colored tourmaline needles that occur naturally inside the gem and is a rare occurrence that makes these gems very unique! You will not see two Rutile Quartz stones that look exactly alike. Along with the checkerboard/rose cut, this stone has nice clarity, perfect rutile color and a nice luster.
