This a stunning Natural and Untreated Ethiopian Opal! This Opal has interesting patterns and mild cracking to form a unique piece along with light but defined coloring with flashes of blues, purples, greens, reds, oranges, yellows, teals and rare pinks! Some of Opals on the market are treated to bring the colors out more and make them brighter, but this stone is 100% natural. It is very hard to find Opals that have this defined/brilliance of colors and with so many colors! No matter which way you hold this opal, the colors are very bright and can be seen in any kind of lighting, however, the brighter the light the better the colors will show.
Opal is also October's Birthstone!
This nicely sized 25mm X 18mm Rough Opal weighs 25.65cts and will go great in any collection, used in a wirewrap setting or faceted/cabochon cut.
